Sponsored by a local non-profit development group, the New Rochelle Neighborhood Redevelopment Corporation, the project is to redevelop a deteriorated block in an older, working-class section of New Rochelle with new affordable housing for ownership. A new mid-rise affordable assisted living facility will anchor one corner of the project. The housing will be attached two and three bedroom two-story units which feature an architectural language of porches, gables, dormers, chimneys, and bays to connect the project visually with the surrounding neighborhood.
